Performance Equestrian and Therapy Riding Academy is a private, veteran-owned riding academy in Northern Virginia. Located at Winding Creek Farm in Fairfax Station, PETRA riders can access trails for leisure riding, and then return to the arena for horsemanship and therapy instruction. PETRA owners are:

• experienced, lifelong equestrian instructors with many years of combined experience competing, teaching, and training;

• certified therapeutic and adaptive riding instructors trained to the highest standards of PATH Int'l and Certified Horsemanship Association;

• career military veterans who served a combined 34 years on active duty;

• local residents of Northern Virginia who want to provide the opportunity to ride and grow close to home.
